A note to members: If you haven't already joined or renewed your membership with La Chaîne, please do so. Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st and there is an incentive for those who renew and pay before March 31st every year.

La Chaîne is dedicated to improving, highlighting, and preserving fine culinary and hospitality in Vietnam. We respect sincerity, ethics and the truth in the hospitality business.

Planning for our signature events is contingent on restaurateurs and/or hoteliers being properly accepted into la Chaîne. Our philosophy is simple: we honour the craft of cuisine, the culture of the table and the hospitality arts. Our members respect their fellow members, our work and camaraderie is a gift from the heart. Being chosen for membership in la Chaîne means you exemplify excellence in your life and your work.

Our five original members from modern times, the men who re-instituted the organization under French law, took an oath which partially reads as, “I promise I will always behave with respect and warmth towards my fellow members of la Chaîne in the knowledge that we all share the same ideas and principles.”
 
La Chaîne Vietnam supports the underdog by giving from our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund to local charities, to make Vietnam richer, more vibrant and an unmissable culinary destination.

Vietnam Visa Update (as of August, 2023): For those interested in travelling to Vietnam to attend our events, please note that there are several websites that claim to sell visas but there is only one legitimate e-visa site. E-visas can be acquired for citizens of ALL countries at a cost of USD $25 for a single entry visa and USD $50 for a multiple entry visa which can last up to three months. The process takes three to five working days. Additionally, citizens of 25 countries can travel visa-free to Vietnam. If you require assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
